Bayfront Health Brooksville, formerly Brooksville Regional Hospital, employs a robust medical team that provides essential acute care to Brooksville, Florida and the surrounding areas. The new, modernized hospital replaced an aging facility over 50 years old. Our team’s tenacious spirit helped us deliver the project three weeks ahead of schedule, despite weathering three hurricanes. The expansive 181,000-square-foot replacement hospital featured a three-story patient tower, 60 private and 60 semi-private beds, an Emergency Department, Surgery Suite, and a Diagnostic/MRI Suite. Although faced with extreme difficulties, M. J. Harris never wavered on our word or commitment to the project. We believed that it was important for the people of west-central Florida to have access to a modern, leading edge healthcare facility at no delay.
