AnMed Health Medical Center is a comprehensive health system that diligently serves the people of Anderson, South Carolina. As the largest employer in the community, the medical center plays a vital role in the overall physical and financial health of the region. M. J. Harris fully embraced the responsibility of this high profile project and committed to fulfill the master plan one painstaking step at a time. It required a comprehensive, six-phase effort to completely modernize and transform the main hospital campus, which was originally built in the 1940s. The scope of work involved a total renovation of 117,000 square feet. Many of the hospital’s key units including the Operating Room Suite, Neuro ICU, Emergency Department, Cardiology Department, PT Dialysis and others were updated during the renovations. Our team also constructed a new Central Energy Plant and completed a full electrical upgrade to the hospital. M. J. Harris strengthened the medical center’s reputation for excellence by uplifting its appearance and improving its functionality.
