The Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Chattanooga is a top-notch facility that provides life-changing, rehabilitative care to its patients. Supporting the mission of the hospital to serve more patients, M. J. Harris worked alongside leadership and staff to complete an extensive renovation and expansion project. Our team skillfully managed pre-construction and general contracting services with minimal disruptions to the daily operations of the hospital. The large, 57,000-square-foot expansion project created new private and semi-private patient rooms, support spaces, a public park, and a day room. Along with the 50-bed expansion wing, our team also completed a multi-phase, 26,00-square-foot renovation of the existing facility. We created a new dining area and reconfigured the entire hospital site and associated parking lot for a more patient-friendly experience. Through our efforts, the hospital is now better equipped to serve the people of Chattanooga.
