Constructech magazine announced the winners of the 2017 Vision Awards at a dinner following Constructech’s Technology Day and Baseline to Build On events held in San Mateo, CA on August 25, 2017. Kevin Hicks, Vice President of Information Technology was in attendance to accept the Silver Award in the category of Builder/GC Commercial $101 million to $250 million.
Winners were selected based on their ability to leverage technology to remedy challenges/issues that arise on the jobsite. M. J. Harris was recognized for its use of the PlanGrid app on the iPad, to more effectively and efficiently handle document management on the project. The use of the app allows our field staff the freedom to access the most up-to-date project documents all in one place, eliminating the need to carry multiple documents around the project site. This provides our employees with the means to work smarter and communicate better, allowing them to be more productive. Implementing this solution on all of our jobsites has enabled our company to construct the highest quality projects for our clients.
