Last week M. J. Harris employees had the opportunity to participate in the Birmingham Corporate Challenge held April 20th – 22nd. The event, held at Railroad Park, promotes physical activity and wellness through team building activities all while having a chance to compete against other local businesses. Events held throughout the day were a 5K Race, 10K Bike Stroll,1 Mile Fitness Walk, Jump Roping, Soccer Shootout, Home Run Derby, Rock Climbing Wall, Football Accuracy Toss, Basketball Shootout, Tug of War, Dodgeball, Cornhole and an Obstacle Course. There was also a Golf Challenge and Bowling Contest held on Thursday and Friday prior to the main event on Saturday. Although exhausted by the end of the day, everyone had a great time!
Of course this IS a competition and we’re excited that M. J. Harris placed in the following events: Bowling – 2nd Place & Cornhole – 2nd Place.
